It's that day...
I don;t watch TV, so my whole context for the memorialization has been radio and internet. I dunno, the Pentagon memorial pissed me off. The NYC one seemed so heartfelt, so mournful and appropriate and beautiful in its way, but the Pentagon one was all rah USA military rampup. In the name of people who died with no other intention in their day than going to work, getting through, going home to their families. Or whatever. They did not, I suspect, have war on their minds. They are gone, yes, but why does killing more innocent people help? How does that make their deaths less "in vain", Mr Bush?
Sigh.
Off to a forum on raising non violent children tonight. That will be good. We have the future in our hands.

It helps because it distracts people from his idiotic lying ways.
I want to hear about the forum. I already see violence in my children sometimes. Stomping on bugs because they're there, etc. "This bug is outside, far from anyone else's home, what did it do to you to deserve stomping?" (Unless it's a bloodsucking insect, I think it can live just fine in my back yard!)
Yeah, bugstomping isn't much, but they do also like to pretend sticks are guns and kill me. Erg.
