so, Finland has been really wonderful, and I am sorry I have not written more. We have been very busy having fun!
We are heading to Helsinki Friday and then we spend the night with our friend and have a party with Finnish OTO folks before getting on the Silja Symphony the next night for an overnight party boat cruise to Stockholm, where we take the train to Copenhagen to meet our friends there for another week of fun!
I am out of time on the internet cafe machine, so the rest of my musings will have to wait.

So glad to hear that all is going well. We miss you very much here, but are cheered that Finland has been a blast!
The Fungus Faire was fun. We worked hard at the opening reception. There were lots of mushroom goodies. We also really enjoyed a talk on medicinal mushrooms by Christopher Hobbes. Isn't he your teacher? We are going to grow some medicinal mushrooms -shitake and reishi- right on the property here in Bonny Doon.
We visited Caven last night. He is getting even bigger. He just loves that gymanee (sp?). You know the little fabric setup with the arches from which you dangle all sorts of goodies. He especially likes the octopus. Wasn't that also a great favorite of Rosie's?
We'll look forward to our reunion on the 25th.
I'm so jealous of your vacation! Glad you're having a good time, miss you all, though.
Patria- the octopus (quintopus, really) was Amelia's favorite, too.
