just sitting around watching our rights go down the drain...

WAMM got raided, destroyed, shut down and arrested yesterday. For those who don't lnow, WAMM is the Wo/Mens Access to Medical Marijuana Cooperative, which has for years been the best, most ethical and effective medical marijuana provider anywhere around.

I am trying to find out if there is a protest in SC today.

The First Call To Poison Control

Rose and I were on the bed, doing our get ready for the day thing, and I decided to be really responsible and put sunblock on her first thing in the morning. So, I put it on, and then I get up to put my shirt on, I turn around and she has *eaten a big bite of the sunblock stick*. AAAAAAA! So I read the ingredients, and they looked scary (note to self: buy health food store sunblock next time) so I called poison control.

poison control was dissapointing to me. I thought they would be all emergency-ish, like 911, but first I was on hold and then I got someone who was still learning english (which does not bother me except that I was all freaked out and so harder to understand than usual which resulted in my having to spell "Banana" and "Kids" for her, and our names several times each, why did they need our names anyways?) and then I was on hold some more and then she said she "didn't think" it would affect Rose. SHEESH.

She's fine, she had diarrhea, but that could be part of the never ending allergy or teething or WHATEVER saga. She threw up big time in the car seat last night. Shit, I hate not knowing what is wrong, and am I depriving her of dairy for no reason or not? Maybe Dr Resneck can do some test or something, Hmmm

OK, must go tgo bed...

Well, swamped with work again... and a case of blog clog to boot, but I did not want you to think I was dead or anything.
