Here's a link to the letter from the papa of the pepper sprayed kids. He was pepper sprayed too, at point blank, apparently because he *asked a police officer for help*.

Rose and I went to Papa's CUE rally today. The UC Berkeley and Chancellor's office Cue are on Strike this week. (I'll try to find non-corporate news on that tonight, stay tooned)

Rose loved the rally, cause there were balloons, people banging on pots and pans, and whistles, and singing, and everyone thought she was cute. So cute, in fact, that my media ploy worked and I think we will be in the Sentinnel tomorrow.

There is a great site listing all the peace events happening on or around September 11th, http://www.unitedforpeace.org There is no SC event listed, but I am hoping that the Santa Cruz Peacemakers will pull something off.

I wanted to write something else, but I forgot what. I think I have what DoctorEvil calls "Blog Clog".

We went to see "Mr Smith Goes to Obscucuristan", by the San Francisco Mime Troupe today. We loved it.

Our dear friend had her baby today! YEA baby!

almost another week no blog!

i have good excuses, though.

i was in this super lame training class Monday-Thursday last week in Newark. I was gone 12 hours a day and it was no good.

The other thing is Rose is still sick, sicker maybe even. I actually stayed home wednesday cause I was sick too. Then we both got better, and everything seemed fine till Saturday when she started spiking fevers and all of that again. AAAAAAA

We are going to the doctor, today. they had better do some tests, I swear, this has been going on at least a month and I am sick of watching her suffer.

I am bad, though. here's why:

1. We have not been sticking to a strict BRAT diet. She hates it, and so do I. She has had yogurt and fruit and a little pasta.

2. I am letting her watch waaay too many videos cause she's so sick. I hope I am not rotting her brain too bad.

3. I am using Internet Explorer right now, even though I have Netscape. cause this is optimized for OSX and it just runs better. I hate myself.

So, I'm getting better, it has not actually been a week since my last blog entry.

Now then. The news, as always is taking a scary turn. In local news, Medical Pot Plants Seized in Scotts Valley, Police Step Up Harrasment Downtown, and cruzers intimdated into dropping their Tenants Rights Website.

In SF Bay Area News, Stephanie Salter was fired from her column at the Chronice, basically for being too progressive. I heard her on Flashpoints last night. Sigh. Freedom of the press my aunt fanny.

There's a lot more I could yammer on about, but instead, here's a piece of good news.

Gee.... long time no blog. And I dont even have a good excuse, since I now have my new new new iBook!!!!

Actually, Rose already broke it, but I fixed it. Phew.

Rose is sick, though, she might have some sort of parasite. She acts fine, then she suddenly has diarrhea and or vomits. Lovely. So I am waiting on tests to come back from the lab. But she is happy, and totally non contagious. Hmm. Where could she have gotten a parasite from though? Scary.

The wedding was fun, LA was fun, driving back and forth was NO FUN. Rose Hates The Car Seat.

And I am so depressed about the Iraq thing. Fucking men and their war toys (did I say that?)
