so we ate dinner, and my poor dh burnt the snot out of his hand. poor dh!

i am too tired to write a full account of the weekend and day but the major rager news is that rose is definitely crawling. slow and unsteady, but i figure give her a few days.

i had a brilliant long post filled with details of my weekend, links, etc, and how i got off jury duty, but then my computer crashed and i am depressed so i am going to go eat dinner. WAH.

What a day!

First, we went to grandma and grampas, and took this super cute picture of rose:



Then, we went to coffe with the mamas, then I had my followup doctor's appointment with the surgeon who removed my gallbladder. He gave me more details than I wanted about what was wrong with the thing, but I'll spare you those. Then we went and grabbed a tofu sandwich at the Chillout, and then we went to the park with the mamas and kids, and then we went to our weekly peace demo. Phew! What a day. And we still have happy hour left!

ok, so now they say that plane in Milan was an accident. Yeesh. Still scary. I am afraid to fly, and yet we are flying next month, on a fun filled family vacation to Maui no less. Woo!

I hung out with some of the women from my Birthing from Within class today, kinda fun to be in a room with 4 babies born within 3 days of eachother. I got a lot of good advice about flying with a baby, too. But they crawl, those babies. And they pull up on everything. Rose does not do these things. I hope she does not feel inferior. She did demonstrate her best butt scooch. Perhaps I should stop worrying about this, you think?

It's my sister's birthday today! The middle one, not the youngest one. We are having a family dinner. Braised Cabbage, Veat, some sort of Fennel, and something else. Yum. Hungry!

So a plane has crashed into a skyscraper in Milan. Terrorist or accident? Horrifying, regardless... so much violence in the world... its one of those days to hug the baby tight.

ack! rose has a blood blister or something, a little purpley dot on her tongue. What is that? Ack!
